StickerGenPrivacy Policy
Overview
StickerGen lets you describe characters and turn them into animated stickers. We collect only what we need to run that service. We do not sell your data, show ads, or use third-party analytics or tracking.
Information we collect
- Account: when you sign in with Apple we receive a stable, anonymous user identifier from Apple. We do not request your name or email address.
- What you create: the character descriptions and animation requests you type, the images generated from them, and the names you give your characters.
- Purchases and credits: App Store transaction identifiers and product IDs for credit packs, and your credit balance and usage history. Payment details are handled by Apple; we never see them.
- Technical data: standard server logs (such as IP address, request times and errors) kept briefly to operate and secure the service.
How we use it
- To generate, store and deliver your characters and stickers to your devices.
- To keep your credit balance and verify purchases.
- To prevent abuse, including checking descriptions against our content rules.
- To fix problems and improve generation quality.
Service providers
- OpenAI generates the images and checks text for policy violations. Your descriptions and the reference images of your character are sent to OpenAI for this purpose. OpenAI does not use data submitted through its API to train its models by default. See OpenAI’s privacy policy.
- Cloudflare hosts our servers, database and file storage.
- Apple provides Sign in with Apple and processes App Store purchases.
Storage and retention
Your data is stored on Cloudflare infrastructure and transmitted over encrypted connections. Your stickers are private to your account and only accessible when you’re signed in. We keep your data while your account exists. When you delete your account in the app (Settings → Delete account), we delete your characters, stickers, generated images and credit balance. Purchase records are kept in anonymised form for accounting.
Stickers you share
Stickers you send in Messages, WhatsApp or other apps are handled by those apps under their own privacy policies.
Children
StickerGen is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
Your rights
You can delete your account and data at any time in the app, or email us to access or delete your information.
Changes
We’ll post any changes on this page and update the effective date.
